Structure of the Conference

Birla Auditorium In keeping with the best traditions of the earlier ILEC Conferences, the 12th World Lake Conference will be structured with

invited Plenary Lectures,
numerous Technical Sessions
with invited Keynote Addresses on various sectional themes
selected oral presentations, and
Poster Sessions.

The Conference will also provide forum for informal discussions, working groups, and satellite meetings on related subjects.

An exhibition of scientific literature, instruments, and technologies for lakes and reservoirs will be arranged.

Birla AUditorium There will be a number of mid-conference excursions which will acquaint the participants with the historical, socio-cultural and architectural aspects of Jaipur and neighbouring areas.

The participants will be offered a glimpse of India’s rich art and cultural heritage during two evening programmes of folklore, dance, drama and music. The participants will also be offered a sample of Indian cuisine at the Conference banquet.
